Group ProgramIs your community group, after-school program/club, or day-care center interested in arranging a visit to the Crissy Field Center to explore and learn more about your local environment and its fascinating natural history? How about having a National Park Service Ranger visit your program? Check out our exciting group program offerings, which address important issues such as water quality, native habitats, and open space. All programs are available in Spanish!
Parks to People/People to Parks ProgramAges 4 and up Our Parks to People programs send a Park Ranger to your site with a series of engaging hands-on activities. Choose from a wide range of programs designed for youth, adults, and seniors. Further your Crissy Field experience by attending one of our People to Parks programs at the Center. These programs vary from exploration tours at sites around the Presidio to activities in our art, ecology, or media labs. People to Park Stewards After School programAges 12 to 18 Here is a chance for your after school group or environmental club to learn about and give back to the park and your community! In a series of three programstwo field trips and one visit by rangers to your school or club siteyour group will learn about San Francisco’s unique habitats and how and why people work to preserve what remains. During your second field trip, students will work directly with park naturalists to restore ea fragile habitat or assist in our native plant nursery. A final student-directed project will showcase your group’s new knowledge. Perhaps your group will coordinate a neighborhood clean-up or start a community garden!

Availability Programs are offered Tuesdays through Sunday. Parks to People programs are one to one and a half hours. People to Parks programs are one and a half to two hours.

Cancellations - Full refunds are available for programs cancelled with one or more weeks' notice prior to program start date.
Camping At the PresidioCAP provides opportunities for local youth that traditionally have not visited their national parks the benefits of a camping experience by providing an economical, supportive and accessible system for teachers and leaders to bring their youth camping in their local national park.
